Orangeville, Ontario Dec 16, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - A one-minute moment is set to unite the world. On December 20th at exactly 8:008:01 PM EST, people everywhere will join a synchronized flashpost called #FindDadsVoice a movement created by Orangeville resident Cathie Clarence after losing her father, Robert Edward Lane Clarence, and realizing the only part of him she could not recover was his voice.

For 9 months and 13 days, Cathie watched her dad fight. She still remembers the warmth of his back, the smell of the hospital, and the feel of his hand when he took his final breath. But she can no longer remember the sound of him. I can still feel him. I can still smell him. But I cant hear him, she says. That painful truth sparked a mission to help others preserve and recover what time always tries to erase the voices of the people we love.

What began as one daughters search has grown into an international legacy movement. #FindDadsVoice ensures that every life leaves an imprint, not just a headstone. Families from across Canada, the United States, and around the world are sharing photos, audio clips, stories, and precious memories proving that love doesnt end when a heartbeat does.

On December 20th, anyone, anywhere can take part by posting:

A photo of someone they miss

A memory, a story, or a tribute

Or a message for the person they love

And include the hashtag #FindDadsVoice
All at the same time 8:008:01 PM EST.
Sixty seconds of remembrance. A lifetime of meaning.

The event also supports colon cancer research at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto, with 100% of proceeds from Clarences handmade Christmas ornaments and kits donated in her fathers name.

This isnt just for dads. Its for mothers, sisters, brothers, grandparents, children anyone whose voice deserves to be remembered, says Clarence. If someone, anywhere in the world, has even one second of my dads voice I just want to hear him again.

Media, radio stations, influencers, and community groups are invited to help share the message and encourage global participation. A generation can fade in silence but #FindDadsVoice promises that voices can still echo through time.
