Cleveland, Ohio Aug 25, 2025 (Issuewire.com) - Stephanie Paris King Dedede cosplay, which she debuted at Colossalcon Prime this summer, features a handmade and hand painted foam hammer, with hand-sewn details on the belt, dress and robe. The gold dress is a twist she added to the character after scrolling through some dress designs on Pinterest for inspiration. Known for attention to detail and creative artistry, Stephanie brings an original and striking interpretation to one of her favorite characters from her childhood.
Cosplay is my way of celebrating the characters and fandoms that mean so much to me, while exercising my creative side and love for working with my hands. Kirby was always one of my favorites growing up, and I knew that a King Dedede cosplay would be fun to make and the community would love it. Hes such a fun character and I can put my own twist on him.
As a cosplayer since 2017, Miss Paris has slowly built a following on Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok, with a new(ish) YouTube channel in the works. Inspiring fans through creative costume design, she has been featured in Cosplay Realm Magazine, Cosplay Kingdom, and has appeared as a contest judge due to her deep love of crafting and sewing.
My favorite part of being asked to judge a masquerade was getting to see the contestants handiwork up close and hearing about how they went about the process. Nowadays we see less and less handmade cosplays, and seeing so many talented cosplayers was such a lovely and humbling experience. I would happily do it again a million more times!
