Message from the Author
I think you will find the book interesting because of the locations, the cultural and social issues as they evolve over many decades, for the many varieties and levels of love and compassion.
The inspiration for Mondays Forever began with a simple yet intriguing anecdote shared by his friendabout a relative who had a long-term affair with a newspaper editor. That small, real-life detail sparked his imagination and became the seed for an entirely fictional story. From there, he developed a sweeping, intergenerational narrative that explores love, secrecy, race, and the power of words to connect lives across decades.
Ron Young has participated in numerous radio and television interviews, national speaking engagements, and book signings across Maryland and beyond. His prior books have received warm public response, and Mondays Forever continues that momentum with scheduled events planned for the coming months.
Recently, he participated in a Prime Seven Media Spotlight interview with esteemed host Logan Crawford. During this engaging segment, he shared the heart and soul behind his novel Mondays Forever. Ron guided audiences through the emotional depth, historical resonance, and layered revelations of the book, offering insight into the inspiration and themes that define the storyfrom hidden love and literary legacy to the enduring strength of family across generations.
